Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 14, 2026
Hebrew for Christians (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit learnhebrewforchristians.com (the “Site”), subscribe to our newsletter, or interact with our content.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you give us. When you subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form on the Site, we collect your email address and any other details you choose to provide (e.g., first name, source of signup).
- Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on the Site, and referring URL.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Site, remember your preferences, and measure performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send you the newsletter and related communications you signed up for.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
- Personalize content and learning recommendations.
- Measure performance and understand how visitors use the Site.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.
3. Service Providers We Use
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to run the Site. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Vercel — website hosting and basic analytics.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email subscriber management and newsletter delivery for our welcome series.
- Substack — daily newsletter delivery.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid products (e.g., Lifetime Membership, Starter Kit).
- Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — website analytics and tag management.
- Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing for our search and display advertising.
- PostHog — product analytics and experimentation.
- Meta (Facebook) — the Meta Pixel (browser-side) and the Meta Conversions API (server-side) measure ad effectiveness and build audiences. Our server may send Meta a hashed (irreversible) version of your email address to match ad conversions; we do not send Meta your email in plain text.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies and tools like the Meta Pixel and Google Ads may qualify as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under laws such as the California CPRA. You can opt out of this — see “Your Privacy Choices” below. We share information with the providers above only to the extent necessary for them to perform services on our behalf.
4. Advertising and Analytics
We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. To measure whether those ads work and to show relevant ads, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, and analytics tools including Google Analytics and PostHog. These technologies may set cookies and collect device and usage information as described above.
Consent. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we do not load non-essential advertising or analytics technologies until you consent through our cookie banner, and we use Google Consent Mode to honor your choice. You can change your choice at any time using the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our footer.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance, adjust your Google Ad Settings, or use your device's ad settings.
5. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you can control how your information is used for advertising and analytics:
- Cookie preferences. Use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer to accept or reject advertising and analytics cookies at any time.
- Do Not Sell or Share (California). California residents may opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising using the same link.
- Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sharing for advertising.
6. Your Choices
- Unsubscribe. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.
- Cookies. Most browsers allow you to refuse or clear cookies. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.
- Access & deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at the address below.
7. Your Rights (EEA, UK, California, and Others)
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR (Europe/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), or similar regulations — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at yehonatan@learnhebrewforchristians.com.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the Site at your own risk.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States. We rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., standard contractual clauses) where required.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be communicated via the Site or email.
