Round Eleven: Your Verses, in Hebrew ☀️
A shield, a craftsman, a blessing, and the sign over the cross. Here is what you sent.
By Yehonatan
Dear friend on Sunday morning,
Last night I asked for your verses, and they came in before the recap had even finished going out. So here is Round Eleven: the verses you already know by heart, read one Hebrew word at a time, the way they were first written.
A little of what is coming this week:
- Jim's Psalm 3:3, "my glory, and the lifter up of mine head," written by a king running for his life.
- Don's Genesis 1:26, "Let us make man in our image," and why God speaks in the plural.
- wynndzofchange777's Exodus 31:2-4, Bezalel, the first person in the Bible said to be filled with the Spirit of God, and what he was filled for.
- Laverne's Numbers 6:24-26, the blessing Aaron spoke over Israel, and her Psalm 139:5, "thou hast beset me behind and before."
- Mark's John 19:20, the sign over the cross, "written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin."
Some of the Aaronic blessing we have already read together, so this week we will go to the parts of it we have not opened yet. And if your verse is not on this list, it is in the queue.
Tonight we finish Julia's Hosea 2. Twice last week we stood in the wilderness with Hosea. Tonight we read the verse after it, where God takes a valley named Trouble and turns it into a door. See you then.
